The San Gabriel Valley (SGV) is a beautiful part of Southern California. It’s diversity is a key element in the aesthetic vibrancy that graces the region.

However, just as many other regions in the United States, the SGV has a controversial racial history that defines the region’s current identity. This project helps to tell the story of that history so that the impacts of the past on the present can be repaired for the future.
